| Posted: 1 Day Ago 01:28 PM The football world said good-bye to a legend of the sport Tuesday. Steve Sabol, President of NFL Films, died of brain cancer just weeks away from 70th birthday.
Sabol took over the mantle of NFL Films from his father Ed, who founded the company. Steve learned in March of 2011 that he had a brain tumor that couldn't be removed,Steve introduced his father during Ed's emotional enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August of 2011.

| Posted: 1 Day Ago 12:48 PM The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed wide receiver Jordan Shipley on Tuesday.
Shipley originally signed with Tampa in late August after being cut by Cincinnati during the preseason, but was cut by the Bucs in early September during their final roster decisions.
A third-year player out of Texas, Shipley caught 52 passes for 600 yards and three touchdowns as a rookie with the Bengals in 2010, before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last season during Week 2. ... [Read More] | |

Rachal, who signed a one-year deal with the Bears on April 23, started 38 games in four season with the San Francisco 49ers.
