Bills WR Stevie Johnson's Injury Status Suddenly Unclear

Receiver Stevie Johnson’s appearance on the injury report this week because of a groin problem is a big area of concern for the Buffalo Bills.

Johnson sent out the first clue that there could be trouble early this week when he said in an interview he was about “90 percent” recovered from offseason surgery to correct the problem, which he played through last season. While he left no doubt he would play Sunday in the season opener at the New York Jets, it was an indication that his recovery may not be complete. That idea was strengthened when he was listed as a limited participant on the team’s first injury report of the season released Wednesday.
