Replacement Officials Losing Control Of Games

While replacement officials got through Week 1 of the NFL season unscathed but Week 2 was a different issue, there were increased reports of players taking advantage of the officials to see how far they could go, but probably the most disturbing issue is the replacement officials are losing control of games.

Most notably the Ravens-Eagles and the Redskins-Ram games, the games started to resemble the National Hockey League or Professional Wrestling with numerous scrums occuring.

In St. Louis there were more than a dozen scuffles and there were skirmishes throughout the game in Philadelphia while good officiating crews get these underway immediately, with the replacements officials, players are pushing the limits and it may only get worse in Week 3. The replacments, who seem unsure of themseolves, are reluctant to take control of games.

It's about time Roger Goodell and the NFL stop it's version of Amateur Hour and get a deal done with the regular officials, things will only get worse instead of better.

Yeah... the replacements are the reason these players (insanely athletic, strong, physical men who are playing a vicious sport where bodies are colliding every minute) are getting chippy with each other.

The replacements are to blame for a lot of things... I don't this being one of them.
