Defensive end Carlos Dunlap and running back Bernard Scott’s chances of playing Sunday are mostly sunny, which should brighten up brighten up Bengals fans moods.

Dunlap, who sprained his right knee in an Aug. 10 preseason game against the Jets, returned to the practice field for the first time. Scott had been out since a hand injury during a training camp practice on Aug. 2. Both were listed as limited as was cornerback Jason Allen, who was inactive for the Baltimore game due to a lingering quad injury.

When asked before practice about the chances of Dunlap and Scott practicing, head coach Marvin Lewis channeled Willard Scott and said: “They’ll be ‘partly cloudy.’ But that’s a step up. That’s an improvement now. It’s not been partly cloudy with those two lately.”
