Jets SS Laron Landry Says He Didn't Realize Bills RB Fred Jackson Was Injured

New York Jets safety Laron Landry said he wasn't celebrating over injured Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson, even though it appeared that way following his hit.

“I’m a passionate player,” Landry told the New York Post. “I play with emotion. I don’t wish any hurt on anybody. I’ve been through injury-prone seasons two years in a row. I would hate to see anyone go through that. I was playing with passion, I made a tackle, was happy about it and that was that. I give it all I’ve got and I leave it on the field.”

Jackson hurt his knee on the play and could miss several weeks as he recovers from the injury.

Didn't see it, but don't see how anyone could mistake his enthusiasm for making a play with joy over injuring another player. Like he said, he's been bitten by the injury bug before and knows how much of a pain in the ass it is.

He probably just got paid 10 grand for injuring the guy.

I kid I kid, I think he was just excited about a decent play, players out there celebrate just about anything now, every hit is a celebration.
