Ireland spoke to the paper to admit that the incident did happen, one where he called the fan an a--hole during halftime of Sunday's game between the Dolphins and Oakland Raiders. Smith was cut during a serious car accident near his home Friday night, according to The Sacramento Bee. Alcohol was not involved.

Sabol took over the mantle of NFL Films from his father Ed, who founded the company. Steve learned in March of 2011 that he had a brain tumor that couldn't be removed,Steve introduced his father during Ed's emotional enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in August of 2011.

Shipley originally signed with Tampa in late August after being cut by Cincinnati during the preseason, but was cut by the Bucs in early September during their final roster decisions.
