Giants Rule Out RB Ahmad Bradshaw, RT David Diehl And WR Domenik Hixon For Thursday

On Tuesday, Tom Coughlin said the Giants were "hoping against all odds" that RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck), RT David Diehl (knee) and WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) would be able to suit up against the Carolina Panthers Thursday night, Jorge Castillo of the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

But they won't be able to. Today, the Giants announced that the trio has been ruled out against the Panthers.

Although Tom Coughlin was short on details when asked about the injuries, he did confirm that Diehl injured an MCL in his right knee, but wouldn't elaborate beyond that. He wouldn't provide insight on Bradshaw's neck injury, either, but acknowledged Hixon had to go through the NFL's concussion protocol, which was difficult to do in three days.
