Bengals FS Taylor Mays Fined $21,000 For Hit On Ravens TE Ed Dickson | | Bengals safety Taylor Mays was fined $21,000 by the NFL for unnecessary roughness for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Ravens tight end Ed Dickson, according to a league spokesman.
Dickson was upended Monday night by Mays, who launched himself into the air during the first half of the Ravens' 44-13 victory over the Bengals.
Dickson said afterward he didn't think Mays was trying to injure him, but predicted he would be fined.
Meanwhile, Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb wasn't fined by the NFL for his hit on Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton. Although he was penalized with a personal foul, Webb led with his shoulder. Source: Baltimore Sun
