Browns linebacker Scott Fujita will not play against the Philadelphia Eagles in the season opener, the team announced. He is not on the inactive list, but will not see the field.
Fujita missed the final three preseason games due to a lower left leg injury sustained in the preseason opener against the Lions. The Plain Dealer reported that he was not at the Browns facility all week as part of the suspension for his alleged role in the Saints bounty system.
