Browns LB Scott Fujita Doubtful To Play Vs Eagles Despite Overturned Suspension | | Browns linebacker Scott Fujita, who had his three-game suspension overturned on Friday, most likely won't play Sunday against the Eagles, a league source told the Plain Dealer.
Fujita, the Browns' starting strongside linebacker, suffered a lower left leg injury in the preseason opener against the Lions Aug. 10 and missed the final three preseason games.
A 10-year pro, Fujita returned to practice Aug. 28, but hasn't been in pads or team drills much this entire preseason. What's more, he was banished from the Browns facility all week after his suspension by the NFL for his alleged role in the Saints so-called bounty system kicked in Aug. 31st.
With Fujita still on the mend, the Browns will likely start rookie linebacker L.J Fort, an undrafted free agent rookie out of Northern Iowa. Source: Cleveland Plain Dealer
