Ravens OT Ramon Harewood Appealing Fine, Says: 'I Did Nothing Wrong' | | Ravens offensive tackle Ramon Harewood is appealing his $8,000 fine from the NFL stemming from an illegal block on St. Louis Rams rookie defensive tackle Michael Brockers, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Harewood wasn't penalized for his cut block, which caused Brockers to suffer a right high ankle sprain that may sideline him for a few games. However, the league office thought otherwise after reviewing video of the play.
"I did nothing wrong," Harewood said. "I watched the play over and over. I even asked [Pro Bowl defensive tackle] Haloti Ngata if he would call that and he said, 'No.'" I'm appealing it. It's a lot of money. They better take off the whole fine." Source: The Redzone
