Omar Bolden returned a kickoff 103 yards in the third quarter for the only touchdown of the game for the Broncos, who went 2-2 in the preseason.
The Cardinals had tied the game with under a minute to play on a 35-yard field goal from Jay Feely, but the Broncos got into scoring position quickly when Adam Weber heaved the ball down the right side where Greg Orton came down with a leaping, 45-yard catch.
After Weber took a knee to line the ball up, Prater kicked it through the uprights from 44 yards out as time expired.
Ryan Lindley passed for 176 yards, one touchdown and one interception for the Cardinals, who finished 1-4 in the preseason. Source: Sports Network
