No formal charges will be filed against Denver Broncos defensive end Elvis Dumervil following his arrest on a charge of aggravated assault with a firearm in Miami. The case was a third-degree felony. If he had been formally charged and convicted, the NFL player could have faced up to five years in jail. Arrested in Miami Beach, Dumervil, 28, was freed on $7,500 bail. "No charges have been filed," Dumervil's agent, Martin Magid, said in a statement at the time of the arrest. "No assault took place, and it's likely once the full investigation is complete no charges will be filed against Elvis."
