The Cincinnati Bengals have signed sixth-round running back Daniel Herron, a former Ohio State player. Herron averaged 4.9 yards per rush during a four-season OSU career. His 2,869 rushing yards ranks 10th in Buckeye history, and he rushed for 32 touchdowns. As a senior last season, he was named the team’s Most Valuable Player and served as a captain. The Patriots traded up six spots to grab the No. 21 overall pick from Syracuse.
