 Heroes Star Returns To TV
"Heroes grad Milo Ventimiglia is (finally) returning to the small screen, with a starring role in Walking Dead creator Frank Darabont’s new TNT drama pilot L.A. Noir.
Described as a fast-paced period thriller (based on the acclaimed novel by the same name), the project centers on the 1940s/50s-era epic battle between Los Angeles Police Chief William Parker and boxer-turned-mobster Mickey Cohen.
Ventimiglia will play Ned Stax, a former marine who served during WWII and is now an up-and-coming lawyer who has been groomed to be a “fixer” for the mob, Deadline reports.
Darabont is an executive producer on L.A. Noir and will write and direct the pilot."
