| Titans To Start QB Jake Locker Vs Buccaneers
Jake Locker will be the starting quarterback for the Titans in their preseason game at Tampa Bay on Friday, coach Mike Munchak said after practice today. It will be Locker’s first NFL start. Locker and Matt Hasselbeck are competing to win the starting job for the regular season, but Munchak has said not to read much into which quarterback starts the preseason games. Hasselbeck was 5-of-9 passing for 45 yards, along with two interceptions in the preseason opener against the Seahawks last Saturday. Locker, the first-round pick last year, came on with the Titans trailing 10-0 and went 7-of-13 for 80 yards.
