| Titans DE Derrick Morgan On Second Team 'For Now' The Tennessee Titans know they have to beef up their pass rush if they are to get better on defense and become a bona fide contender in the AFC South. One of the players they had been counting on help improve that rush is 2010 first-round pick Derrick Morgan, who has battled injuries early in his career. The Titans are hoping that this year will be Morgan's breakout season. But in recent days, Morgan has been working with the second team at left defensive end, while former practice squad player Pannel Egboh has been running with the ones, according to TitanInsider.com. Titans coach Mike Munchak said the team only wanted to get a look at Egboh with the first group because they believe he can help them in certain situations, especially as a rush end. "We want to see how they respond when they get the opportunity to work with different players. We'll be doing that at times, and especially in packages. You'll want to see how a guy does, especially a guy like Egboh, who can pass rush well," Munchak said. Source: National Football Post
