| Titans QB Jake Locker Brushes Off Accuracy Questions It’s clear quarterback Jake Locker is tired of answering questions about his accuracy, questions that can be traced back to his days at Washington. He had a 54.0 completion percentage in college. He completed 51.5 percent last season. “I’ve said it before and I stand next to it: I feel just as good about my accuracy as I did last year right now,” Locker said Wednesday. Analysts should look past statistics before casting judgment, he said. A 60 percent completion rate would be ideal, he said, but “if you throw 55 percent and win games you could care less. … Obviously you want to be around a certain number for sure. But different situation in games, different defenses you are seeing, are going to affect those numbers.” Source: The Tennessean |
