I continue to use FF v3.6.8 and am beginning to run into sites that want an upgrade in order to browse the site. Of course Google's Chrome is the browser being offered, but I wish to continue using FF. I tried v. 4.0 and uninstalled it as soon as I could. Thought I was using Opera from its appearance, but so many addons were incompatible that I went back to v3.6.x.

I've tried Chrome, IE and Safari for Windows and have Opera as my second browser. But I want to use FF. From FF users out there which version of Firefox would you recommended.

Thanks for any suggestions/opinions.

I'm using 10.0.2, but I'll be honest with you. It has crashed on me a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. The older versions used to not do that.

I'm using version 9.01 and love it. The newer version 10 is already out...I'll probably upgrade eventually. All my add ons work fine. If you throw a list of add ons you are using, I'll check to see if they are available in my version.

I am using 10.0.2 here but I have had issues with the browser crashing ever since it rolled over to v9.

I also use 10.0.2. Mine doesn't crash but for whatever reason it doesn't stop running (I get the popup when I try to reopen it) after I exit. Maybe I need to restart (started happening after the recent update) right now I just end the process from the task manager.

As for the look I got used to it after a while. To me it doesn't matter as long as my add-ons work and it doesn't crash all the time.

Sent a PM. I noticed that every version of 9.0.x is a Beta version. Which one are you using?

How about compatibility with extensions? Any problems there? I'd have to imagine that going from 3.6.x to 10.0 you had to have lost some addons.

Responded to the PM. Looks like most of your extensions and themes come up in the search as usable in Firefox 9.01.
