Buccaneers Sign Free Agent DE's Wallace Gilberry, Jayme Mitchell To 1-Year Contracts

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed DL Wallace Gilberry and DE Jayme Mitchell to one-year contracts, the team announced Monday. Gilberry played the past four seasons with the Chiefs, recording 46 tackles, 14.0 sacks, five passes defensed, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 53 games. Mitchell, a six-year veteran with the Vikings and Browns, has 61 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 43 career games. Last season, he started 13 games for Cleveland and recorded 32 tackles, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. The Bucs released DE Hilee Taylor and waived DT Myles Wade.
