| Rams Coach Jeff Fisher Eases Concern About QB Sam Bradford's Ankle Jeff Fisher did his best to relieve concerns that Sam Bradford’s left ankle will be a problem again this season. The St. Louis Rams quarterback struggled with a high-ankle sprain in 2011 and caused a bit of a panic when he said on Saturday that he still was not 100 percent. “There’s going to be residual effects from high-ankle sprains, especially when you come back into practice like he is,” Fisher said, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "But we don’t anticipate it to be a problem, and it hasn’t been one. He’s moving around fine." Bradford was sidelined for six games last season and hobbled through some other contests. He worked diligently during the offseason to recover from the injury but Fisher said bad high-ankle sprains can require up to a year to fully recover from, a long timeline.
