Rams C Scott Wells Dealing With 'Injury Issue' Should Be Ready For Training Cam

The St. Louis Rams wrapped up OTAs on Friday, inching closer and closer to training camp but one notable absence, again, was center Scott Wells. Wells missed all week's worth of the team's OTA sessions and more, watching from the sidelines. Head coach Jeff Fisher said earlier in the week that Wells had been given the day off, and on Friday the team's web site reported that Wells was dealing with "an injury issue." Fortunately, the report on the Rams' website went on to say that Wells should be good to go in time for training camp, which starts in July. Players practice in shorts during OTAs and minicamp, so there is only so much for linemen to do.
