Titans WR Kenny Britt Sits Out Again With Knee Soreness
Titans receiver Kenny Britt, who missed practice for a second straight day Monday, said his knees feel "great," according to the Tennessean. And coach Mike Munchak said he expects Britt to play Saturday against the Bengals.
But Munchak also said Britt has experienced swelling and soreness with his right knee. “We just have to be smart, because it is all about getting him to September,’’ the coach said.
Britt said he had “no concerns at all."
“I wish I could be out there practicing with the fellas," he said, "but I am just taking a few days off and making sure I don’t have any setbacks.”
Britt has undergone surgery on both knees, most recently arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in June 2012.
