New Lawsuit Filed Against Browns Owner Jimmy Haslamís Pilot Flying J
Another company has sued Pilot Flying J, which is run by Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, as the federal probe into claims of fuel rebate fraud continues.
The latest lawsuit, filed by trucking customer Mike Campbell of Holmes County, Miss., seeks class-action status ó as do other lawsuits filed in federal court in Illinois and in Arkansas, along with two in Alabama and another in Mississippi. A Georgia company, joined by three others, has sued in Knox County Circuit Court in another proposed class-action case. A company in Butler County, Ala., has sued in state court there.
FBI and IRS agents raided Pilotís corporate headquarters off Lonas Drive in West Knoxville in April while serving search warrants for company records.
