No Surgery For Seahawks DE Michael Bennett "In The Near Future"
Seattle Seahawks GM John Schneider is on record as saying that newly acquired defensive end Michael Bennett will not have surgery on his torn rotator cuff "in the near future" according to Dave Mahler of Sportsradio KJR 950 AM.
According to Schneider, Bennett played every game last season with a torn rotator cuff. He still posted nine sacks and 41 tackles. Schneider appears to be suggesting that the plan is for Bennett to do the same this season. Going under the knife would mean at least three months of rehab.
