Colorados TE Nick Kasa Says NFL Team Asked Him: 'Do You Like Girls?'
Teams ask draft prospects all kinds of odd questions at the NFL Scouting Combine. But one prospect, Colorado tight end Nick Kasa, told ESPN Radio Denver that he received queries that crossed the line at the just-completed Combine in Indianapolis.
"They ask you like, 'Do you have a girlfriend? Are you married? Do you like girls?' " Casa told the station via Pro Football Talk. "Those kinds of things, and you know it was just kind of weird. But they would ask you with a straight face, and it's a pretty weird experience altogether."
While teams use Combine interviews to find extensive details on players, they also have been known to reach bizarre levels in how far they probe. It's a different story if teams had just asked Kasa about his family background and how he conducts himself off the field.
But asking questions about marital status and sexual orientation doesn't make NFL teams sound like equal opportunity employers.
