Howie Roseman Optimistic On Eagles OT Jason Peters' Return
One of the big questions of the offseason is whether Eagles OT Jason Peters will be back in 2013. In all likelihood, the Eagles will have a shot at a guy like Eric Fisher or Luke Joeckel in the draft, both of whom could be short and long term replacements for Peters. However, if he's healthy and ready the go, the team could be free to address other areas of the team with their top pick.
When asked about Peters' status today, Eagles GM Howie Roseman offered no specifics, but was upbeat.
"Jason's done a great job rehabbing. He works really hard, he's been around the building a lot and we're
looking forward to getting him back at some point here for 2013."
Roseman said there is "no doubt" that Peters can return to his pre-injury level of performance.
"Yeah. There is no doubt about it. Jason is, for a lack of a better term, he's a freak. He's able to do thing that not many people on this earth are able to do. So for us it's exciting to get that kind of talent back."
