Bears CB Tim Jennings Will Get 2013 Pay Raise
Bears cornerback Tim Jennings, who signed a two-year contract to return to the club last March, triggered a $1 million escalator in his deal that pushes his base pay for the 2013 season to $4.25 million, according to NFLPA documents. The clause pushes the total value of his contract to $7,604,495.
As it was, Jennings started 14 games and was on the field for 886 of the defense’s 1,051 snaps (84.3) according to NFL statistics. Coming off his first Pro Bowl, the 29-year-old Jennings now prepares to enter the final year of his contract.
Jennings also has a $250,000 roster bonus and $100,000 workout bonus meaning he can collect $4.6 million in 2013 while carrying a cap number of $5.1 million.

Sweet deal for him but as that D gets older & older, the more his weaknesses will be exposed & exploited.
