Titans QB Jake Locker To Undergo Offseason Shoulder Surgery
Titans quarterback Jake Locker will have surgery in the near future to repair his non-throwing shoulder, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Locker missed five games after dislocating his left shoulder twice in the first four games.
He initially suffered the injury while making a tackle in the season-opener against the Patriots, but he played the following week wearing a harness. When Locker injured the shoulder the second time, at Houston on Sept. 30, he also fractured a bone at the front of the shoulder.
The surgery is expected to sideline the second-year pro for several months, but there’s a chance he could participate in minicamps in May.
