Titans Not Expected To Fire Head Coach Mike Munchak
Despite what happened last week in Green Bay, and regardless of what might befall the Titans today against Jacksonville, all signs point to Mike Munchak’s return as head coach in 2013, John Glennon of the Tennessean reports.
But with owner Bud Adams turning 90 this week, there is little reason to suspect he has the stomach for a second coaching change in two years. It was his call to elevate Munchak when Jeff Fisher exited in 2011.
Despite signs of discontent after blowout losses to Chicago on Nov. 4 and Green Bay last Sunday, Bud seems inclined to stay the course — even if the course has the Titans muddling along as one of the worst half-dozen teams in the NFL.
