Texans Defeat Colts 29-17 To Wrap Up AFC South
Matt Schaub threw a touchdown pass to Andre Johnson, Arian Foster gained 165 yards on 27 carries and the Houston Texans shook off a humbling beatdown at New England with a division-clinching 29-17 win over the Indianapolis Colts at Reliant Stadium.
Schaub ended with 261 yards on 23-of-31 efficiency for the Texans (12-2), who rebounded from Monday night's 42-14 loss to capture their second straight AFC South title while Johnson made 11 catches for 151 yards.
Indianapolis rookie Andrew Luck had two touchdown passes, but was held to 186 yards on a season-low 13 completions in 27 attempts.
The Colts (9-5) had won seven of their last eight games. However, the seven victories had come against teams that entered Week 15 with a combined 29-62 record.
