Eagles TE Brent Celek Ruled Out For Thursday's Game With A Concussion
Philadelphia starting tight end Brent Celek will not play against the Bengals on Thursday after suffering a concussion early in Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay.
Celek, who played at La Salle High and the University of Cincinnati, has 51 catches for 602 yards and one touchdown.
Defensive tackle Mike Patterson also has been ruled out because of viral pneumonia.
Limited were cornerback Nnambi Asomugha (neck/quadriceps), safety Kurt Coleman (chest), wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (groin) and guard Evan Mathis (ankle). Safety Nate Allen (shoulder), running back Stanley Havili (ankle), linebacker Mychal Kendricks (shoulder), running back Chris Polk (toe) and center Dallas Reynolds (ankle) had full participation in practice.
