Colts NT Josh Chapman To Go On Injured Reserve, Season Over
Colts rookie nose tackle Josh Chapman will have to wait until next season to make his long-awaited NFL debut.
Chapman tweeted today the Colts have placed the fifth-round pick on injured reserve to let his surgically repaired left knee heal.
Chapman tweeted late this morning: “Injured Reserve For the rest of the season now it’s just time to get this knee to a 100% so it’s Beast Mode come next season. #COLTSTRONG”
The Colts had not yet announced the move.
The team is expected to fill two roster spots Tuesday after interim coach Bruce Arians announced Monday that defensive end/tackle Fili Moala suffered a season-ending knee injury in Sunday’s 20-13 home win over Buffalo.
