Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger's Return Sunday Still Unlikely
Ben Roethlisberger said he's feeling better and is “going to try” to play against the Ravens, but that might be wishful thinking.
Unlike 2010 when the Steelers went 3-1 with Roethlisberger serving a four-game suspension to start the season, they are 0-2 this season and lacking any offensive punch without him.
The offense has managed just one touchdown in each of the past three games and hasn’t converted third down or controlled the ball as they did earlier in the season.
Charlie Batch probably will start his second game in a row since Backup Byron Leftwich (ribs) is still injured as well.
Roethlisberger would have to endure pain from his rib injury, but his clavicle dislocation would still limit his ability to throw.
