Ravens LB Ray Lewis Likely To Return From Injury In Mid-December
Future Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis is expected to return to action for the Baltimore Ravens before the end of the season, Yahoo! Sports reports.
According to Yahoo! Sports, citing several sources, Lewis, who suffered a torn triceps last month, will be back at least for the critical Week 15 game against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Dec. 16.
The sources told Silver that Lewis' recovery has been expedited by plasma therapy, to the point the linebacker could be available to practice as early as later this week.
Because coach John Harbaugh and the rest of the Ravens officials held out hope the 37-year linebacker still can help their defense on the field this season, Lewis was put on injured reserve but also designated to return.
