Texans LB Brooks Reed Expected To Miss At Least 3-4 Weeks
Texans starting outside linebacker Brooks Reed is expected to miss at least three to four weeks with a groin injury, according to a person familiar with his condition.
He sustained the injury while trying to cover a Lions player running a go-route Thursday. Depending on how his body reacts to rehab, Reed could be out up to six weeks.
At 10-1, the Texans have the best record in the AFC and are on pace to secure home-field advantage in the playoffs. They have five games left, which means they will be without Reed for most if not all of the regular season, but they would get him back in time for the playoffs.
