Cowboys Unsure If RB DeMarco Murray Will Play Vs Redskins
Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray missed his fifth consecutive game Sunday. Murray hasn’t played since Oct. 14, when he suffered a sprained left foot.
Team owner Jerry Jones said he was unsure whether Murray would be ready to return Thursday, when Dallas faces Washington.
“I don’t know,” Jones said. “We’ll see how he goes. But I was sure impressed when I saw a highlight or two of the Redskins against Philadelphia. We don’t want to save anything from the Redskins.”
Murray was one of seven Cowboys players who were inactive.
Wide receiver Andre Holmes, center Ryan Cook, cornerback Mike Jenkins, guard David Arkin, center Phil Costa and defensive lineman Sean Lissemore were also not available.
