Matt Forte Says Bears Runs Were Often "Obvious"
Bears running back Matt Forte, who averaged a dismal 2.4 yards per run Sunday, credited the Houston Texans defense for his forgettable night.
But he felt the Bears also made it easier on the Texans.
"It's kind of like we ran the ball at the time when it was kind of like obvious we were going to run the ball," Forte said. "Plus, it was a sloppy game.
"I don't know. You got to give them credit; they got a good defense, too. We have to establish the run more."
The Bears finished the 13-6 loss with 115 rushing yards on 23 carries, a solid five-yard average. But quarterback Jay Cutler earned 37 of those on three runs.
Forte's 39 rushing yards is his lowest output in a game in which he played.

It begins & ends with Tice & that OL.
He's right, in a twist, the pass protection wasn't too bad but the run blocking was a f'n Keystone Kops episode.
