49ers RB Frank Gore Has X-Rays Taken After Game Vs Rams
Running back Frank Gore was clearly aching after the 49ers' 24-24 tie against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.
Gore, who sustained bruised ribs Oct. 18 against the Seattle Seahawks, underwent X-rays after the game. He was getting around gingerly as he got dressed at his locker, about an hour after the game.
"Just sore," he said, speaking slowly and in obvious discomfort. "It's cool."
But what wasn't cool for Gore was how the 49ers came out slow and were not able to win a home game against the last-place team in the NFC West. The 49ers, like the Rams, coming off their bye week, fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter.
"We came out sluggish," Gore said. "You could tell we had some time off. But the Rams came in and played hard. We didn't get the job done. We got to get better and get back to what we do and how we play."
