Redskins Cut LS Justin Snow, Will Activate Nick Sundberg From IR
The Washington Redskins have released long-snapper Justin Snow and in a corresponding move will activate Nick Sundberg from the injured reserve list, Mike Jones of the Washington Post reports.
Sundberg broke his left arm late in the first half of Washington’s season opener at New Orleans, but continue to play the remainder of the game, he was placed on IR two days later, but designated to return during the season.
Washington then signed Snow, a 13-year veteran, who played the last eight weeks and didn’t have any major mishaps.Sundberg wasn’t eligible to return until sitting out six weeks of practice and eight games, his arm healed without any complications, and he has done well snapping the ball in the last two weeks of practice.
The Redskins informed Snow prior to Sunday’s game against Carolina that that would be his last with the team because Sundberg had recovered, Snow came to Redskins Park Tuesday morning and cleaned out his locker.
