Browns Activate NT Phil Taylor, Could Play Sunday Vs Ravens
The Cleveland Browns activated defensive tackle Phil Taylor from the physically unable to perform list on Friday, making him eligible to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
After a stellar rookie campaign, Taylor returns to the Browns' defensive line. The 24-year-old required surgery to repair a torn left pectoral muscle, which he suffered while lifting weights during a team training program in August.
The 21st pick in the 2011 NFL draft started all 16 games for Cleveland last season, registering 59 total tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble.
In addition, the Browns signed defensive lineman Ronnie Cameron from the practice squad and placed defensive lineman Brian Sanford on injured reserve.
