Cowboys Back DeMarco Murray Expects To Miss Third Straight Game
Cowboys running DeMarco Murray is expected to miss a third consecutive game with a sprained foot.
Murray didn't practice with the team. He was dressed in street clothes and was wearing tennis shoes in the locker room. He did not offer much on how his foot is healing.
"Wait and see," Murray said when asked if he would play Sunday. "It's progressing."
Executive vice president Stephen Jones said Wednesday the Cowboys are being cautious with Murray's injury.
"On some of these injuries, if you push them, all you do is set them back," Jones said during his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM). "We've had DeMarco in a boot for two weeks, on crutches. Now he's getting out of that. But we just can't afford to put him out there if he's not going to be 110 [percent]."
