Lions CB's Jacob Lacey, Drayton Florence Will Practice This Week
Jim Schwartz said cornerbacks Jacob Lacey and Drayton Florence will likely practice this week, and both are getting closer to playing again. Lacey has missed Detroit's past two games as a result of a concussion he sustained against the Philadelphia Eagles, while Florence is recovering from a broken forearm.
However, Schwartz did not give a timetable for the return of safety Amari Spievey, who is battling a concussion.
"I think we'll get Lacey back on the practice field this week," Schwartz said. "We'll see how he progresses through that. It's a little too early to tell with Speivey. He's still got some hurdles to clear, but both of those guys are doing well. They're on their way back.
"It's just about how long that will be either, and whether or not it will be this, we'll get a better feel for it later in the week."
