Browns Officially Place OG Jason Pinkston On Season-Ending IR
As expected, Browns left guard Jason Pinkston has been placed on injured reserve for the season with a blood clot in his lung that was life-threatening.
The clot was discovered Thursday after Pinkston was rushed to the emergency room with difficulty breathing and other symptoms that had plagued him for about two weeks. On Monday, Pinkston assured fans in a tweet that this is "just a bump in the road," indicating he intends to return to football.

Guard John Greco, who's replacing him, has been in frequent contact with Pinkston, and knows he's determined to return.
"I don't even think that's a conversation where he's talking about being done," said Greco. "I know he wants to be out there as soon as he can. Like I said all along, Jason's just trying to figure out what's going on with him right now, and we're behind him. So anyway we can help, [we] will."
