Giants Concerned About WR Hakeem Nicks’ Injured Knee
For months, Hakeem Nicks' main health concern was his surgically repaired right foot, which he broke at organized team activities in May. But last week, an injured knee was added to the mix when he ran for the first time in over a week and the knee swelled up.
It forced him out of Sunday's game against the Eagles, the second straight game he's missed, and Tom Coughlin is uncertain of his star wide receiver's status for Sunday against the Browns.
"I won't know until I see what happens, where he's at as we go forward here and analyze him and the doctors get their hands on him again and he communicates with them," Coughlin said.
It was thought that Nicks only aggravated his foot on the play, but it turned out to be more when he practiced his standard day of practice on Thursday and his knee flared up. Coughlin made it known that he is worried about Nicks' health going forward.
"How much concern can I show you?" Coughlin asked in response to a question about his level of concern over Nicks.
