Bills FS Jairus Byrd Improves, May Play Sunday
Bills free safety Jairus Byrd has made great strides in the past 24 hours, and it now looks like he'll be ready to face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
“It's something that's there," Byrd said, "but hopefully as things progress it will stay on track and I'll be good Sunday.”
Byrd missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle injury but was able to participate on a limited basis Thursday. He didn't appear to be favoring the injured leg during the portion of practice opened to the media.
Byrd revealed he actually suffered the injury before Sunday's game against the Chiefs. He declined to elaborate on the exact timetable of events.
