Lions CB Chris Houston Says He'll Be Back Vs. Titans
After a high-ankle sprain kept him out the first two games, cornerback Chris Houston said he plans to return this week.
"Oh yeah I definitely will be (back)," he said after practice Wednesday.
The ailing Lions secondary desperately needs him back. Cornerback Drayton Florence started against the 49ers, but had surgery Tuesday on a broken forearm suffered in the second half. Fellow cornerback Bill Bentley, who returned to practice Wednesday, missed the 49ers game due to a concussion from Week 1.
Jacob Lacey played well starting the first two weeks, but he was projected as the third cornerback behind Houston and Bentley entering the season.
