Rams May Need To Go With Tom Brandstater At Quarterback Vs Seahawks
Tom Brandstater could be the Rams' only quarterback option Monday night in Seattle according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Particularly if it's thumbs down on A.J. Feeley, who suffered a small fracture on his right thumb in Sunday's 26-0 loss to San Francisco. "Well, he would have to be the guy," Spagnuolo said Monday. "The good thing is, we had him here a good month period, so the system's not new to him. Last week he was in there, really with the practice squad reps, so he's kind of got the juices flowing again. But he'd be the guy we'd have to go with, yeah." If Bradford's sore left ankle doesn't feel good enough this week, or if Feeley's thumb injury prevents him from gripping or throwing a football, the Rams have nowhere else to turn but Brandstater.
