Staph Infection Lands Redskins LB Keyaron Fox In Hospital
Washington Redskins linebacker Keyaron Fox spent a week in the hospital because of a staph infection on his knee. Fox had not played since the Week 9 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in which he recorded three tackles. He was released from the hospital late Monday afternoon according to head coach Mike Shanahan. Fox was among the five Redskins players to miss Thursday’s practice. Although not officially ruled out for Sunday’s contest against the Dallas Cowboys, the linebacker is a long shot to play.
