| Chargers Select UConn DT Kendall Reyes (Rd.2, No.49)
With the 49th overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Chargers select Kendall Reyes, DT (Connecticut). Reyes has shown an improving game the past three seasons and is a defensive lineman who's been an unstoppable force at times on the college level. He needs to refine his game and consistently play at a high level, but he offers starting potential for a variety of defensive systems in the NFL. Athletic and deceptively strong lineman with size and growth potential. Displays explosiveness, quickly changes direction and shows the ability to get down the line of scrimmage and outside the box to make plays.
